I forget I am wearing them
Eight-hour workdays with no ear fatigue. ANC is superb and Immersive mode makes albums feel new. Comfort is unmatched.

Comfy, shorter battery
Most comfortable headphones I have owned. ANC is excellent. Only gripe is battery — I charge more often than my old Sony.

Buyer questions

Questions & answers

Real questions from buyers, answered by owners and the ComparZone team.

From the community

QDo they work well for calls?
Calls are clear in quiet spaces; in very noisy environments the Sony XM5 isolates your voice slightly better.
QCan I use them wired?
Yes — a 3.5mm cable is included for wired listening and to keep using them when the battery is low.

Frequently asked

What is Bose Immersive Audio?
It is Bose's spatial audio mode that places sound in front of you for a speaker-like, more open feel, with still and motion settings.
Are they comfortable for glasses wearers?
Yes — the plush earpads and light clamping force make them among the most comfortable options for long sessions with glasses.
Do they support aptX?
They support aptX Adaptive and AAC. There is no LDAC, so Sony has the edge for Android hi-res streaming.
