Birds in flight are easy now
The tracking grabs an eye and never lets go, and 40fps means I never miss the moment. Ergonomics are the best of any camera I have held.

Speed over megapixels
Incredible for action and the uncropped 4K60 is great. I occasionally want more resolution for big landscape crops, but the speed is worth it.

Buyer questions

Questions & answers

Real questions from buyers, answered by owners and the ComparZone team.

From the community

QDoes it overheat recording 4K?
It records long 4K clips comfortably at room temperature; very long 4K60 sessions can warm up but rarely cut short in practice.
QHow is battery life?
CIPA rates it around 760 shots — strong for mirrorless — and USB-C charging keeps you topped up on the go.

Frequently asked

How fast can it shoot?
Up to 40fps with the electronic shutter and 12fps mechanical, making it superb for sports and wildlife.
Is the 4K cropped?
No — 4K up to 60p is oversampled and uncropped, an advantage over the Sony A7 IV for video shooters.
Is 24MP enough resolution?
For most work yes; it prints large and crops reasonably. If you crop aggressively or shoot landscapes, a higher-resolution body may suit you better.
