Trains with me, charges weekly
Body Battery and HRV status actually changed how I train and recover. I charge it once a week. The AMOLED is a big step up from older Garmins.

Fitness king, fewer apps
Unbeatable for running data and battery. The smartwatch side is simpler — fewer apps and a plainer notifications experience — but that is a fair trade for me.

QCan I reply to texts?
On Android you can use canned and voice replies; on iPhone, reply options are limited by Apple, so you mostly view notifications.
QDoes it have contactless payments?
Yes — Garmin Pay is supported, though bank coverage is narrower than Apple Pay or Google Wallet.
Frequently asked
How long does the battery really last?
About 10–14 days in smartwatch mode depending on GPS and always-on use — far beyond Apple or Samsung.
Does it work with an iPhone?
Yes — Garmin Connect works on both iPhone and Android, making it the cross-platform choice here.
Is it good for non-runners?
Yes — it tracks strength, yoga, cycling, sleep, stress, and more, with helpful daily readiness via Body Battery.
