The AF never blinks
Shot a wedding and a wildlife trip on one body. Eye AF sticks to people and birds alike, and the 33MP files take heavy edits. The hybrid king.

Brilliant, mind the crop
Stills are flawless and video is great, but the 1.5x crop at 4K60 caught me out — plan your lenses for it. Menus took a weekend to learn.

Buyer questions

Questions & answers

Real questions from buyers, answered by owners and the ComparZone team.

From the community

QIs it still worth buying?
Yes — it remains the most balanced hybrid full-frame at this price. Newer bodies beat it on burst speed, but few match its all-round versatility.
QCan it livestream as a webcam?
Yes — it works as a UVC/UAC webcam over USB-C at up to 4K 15p / FHD 60p with no capture card.

Frequently asked

Is the 4K 60p cropped?
Yes — 4K 60p uses a 1.5x Super35 crop. Full-frame oversampled 4K tops out at 30p with excellent detail.
Is it good for beginners?
It is very capable but the deep menus take time to learn. The autofocus, however, makes getting sharp shots easy from day one.
Does it have in-body stabilization?
Yes — 5-axis IBIS rated around 5.5 stops, effective for handheld stills and run-and-gun video.
